I barely draw or write anything. Creativity is on ground level.

But yeh. I've been cosplaying. i'm still an amateur, and i've never been in a proper competition before.
but I am looking forward to summer. There might be a competition or something.

This week, I played the flute on our monthly Youth XP. It's some kind of fellowship for teenagers (high school - college) in our church. I was tasked to play along with another flautist. But she kind of ditched me. I was left solo and confused especially when the keys are the Key of F, B, Eb, and Ab. It was difficult for me because I stopped having lessons a year ago. (actually, I only had lessons for 1 month) So I went on, disappointed and inexperienced. There were like 7 songs to play and we only have 1 day to practice. But for God, I practised, eager to play even without proper preparation. I even invited my friend to go and watch my performance.

On the day of our performance, my other friend (who plays the violin with us) was still waiting for her violin when we were signalled to enter the stage. I'm only confident when she's beside. When the piano started, my friend's sister (who also plays the violin with us) is supposed to play the introduction with my friend. But sadly, she wasn't there. Her sister told me through eye signal that I would play the introduction together with her. But I was afraid because the microphone was sensitive and I might miss a note. So she played the introduction solo, hands shaking and nervous. I'm so sorry.

When the first 5 songs were finished, (with me blowing nervously and all you could hear was *spurt *spurt *spurt, and my hands were chilled to the bone, they couldn't even move, my feet were shaking too) I went down and sat with my friend. I asked her about my performance. She said that she couldn't hear what I was playing. And with that, I was satisfied.

It's time to get back on stage, and have my friend on the violin play with me. I was confident, and to my surprise, I made minimal and minor mistakes. The song went well. Thank God.












NEW THINGS I WANT TO TRY THIS SUMMER:




I want to have art summer classes. I think my skills are degrading and deflating. XD So. . . I really want to improve and pursue my artistic dreams.

And since I'm having art summer classes, I want to try watercolour. I've always wanted to go painting. But in my previous art summer class, (back when I was in grade 4) we used acrylic. And I kind of quitted half-way because I don't want to learn sculpture. And the place creep me out. (MUSEO DE ILOILO) It had skeletons with golden eye patches and real, preserved heads with jello eyes. -_-" I never want to step inside of it again.

I also want to continue studying and improving my flute. That's because my teacher is nowhere to be found. *sigh. I wonder if should quit music.

I kind of want to go back to my violin too. I had violin lessons when I was in grade 4, because I don't like going out of the house during Saturdays, and my lessons are getting difficult because I don't know how to read notes, (but right now I can read notes) I QUIT. aaaah. I know. It's kind of my fault too.








That's all. I gotta go.

This is kind of a review instead of a journal entry. I've currently finished watching Samurai X:Reflection The Director's cut.
Unlike the previous 2 OVAs, Reflection wasn't as bloody or gory. Hahah. It was just like this:
























The OVA had a good quality. The characters looked better than the original anime's, and the details on the characters are awesome. The effects were also amazing. I always loved those realistic landscapes just like in Betrayal. This time, I loved the wind chime ringing.




The ending was also better than those of the manga's. Kenshin died because of a disease. He attained them through his battle scars. The scars that the Hiten Mitsurugi technique gave him. His body is damaged because of that. The deadlier the technique, the deadlier the effect is to the user. (From Naruto. the time when he used the rasen-shuriken) Isn't it great? The cause of the legendary samurai's death was because of a disease. It's better than getting killed by someone. This proves that nobody could ever defeat Kenshin. And because of that, he's still a legend. Reflection was one of the saddest anime endings I've ever seen.




Hiten Mitsurugi style makes you immortal! lol. Seijuro Hiko (Kenshin's mentor) was really old but he only had gray hair. He didn't even had those wrinkles. But it's a shame that Kenshin died before his master. :sighs:




Kenji is so cute. I was glad to see him. He had the looks of Kenshin and the eyes of Kaoru. But his ideals are different from Kenshin's. He desired to surpass Kenshin. To surpass the Hiten Mitsurugi style and seek true strength. But looking at him in the last few minutes of the movie, you could really see Kenshin when he was younger. Just a little bit arrogant.



I wish they gave a reason on why Kaoru had the same disease as Kenshin. She said she'd like to share the pain that Kenshin was feeling. And then they and then Kenshin left and then Kaoru had the disease too. WikiAnswers said that Kenshin had leprosy and that he transmitted the disease to Kaoru through sexual intercourse. I don't believe that because if ever Kenshin had leprosy, he could've had transmitted that to everybody he meets. Leprosy is airborne, not sexually transmitted. When I saw the post i was like: Whoever wrote it..


But I think Kaoru has a disease that's plainly called folie a deux.


I don't like Kenshin and Kaoru pairings that's why I don't really support their love team. I prefered Megumi before and when I watched Trust and Betrayal, I prefered Yukishiro Tomoe. I guess I just don't like her. Or maybe I was just jealous.

But beacause I had this: hell! i can't say it! i had to post a work from grade 6. hahah. It's entitled "Should I call it a nightmare?" My cousin inspired me to write when she told me her nightmare. I loved writing it because i get to describe how the killer kills every girl. wooo! the art of killing! hope you check it out! pinkhairedsasuke.deviantart.co… That was my favorite story ever! Joking... from among the ones I wrote actually..



The last thing I'm going to say here is that: I'm proud to be a deviant!

Yay! OMG! I've finally made it! I've finally made a deviantart account! hahah. Wondering why I'm like a psychotic person? Wondering why I could've had time to make an account long ago? That's because:

1. I really am a psychotic person since birth.
2. I don't have time to make one long ago.
3. I always get too excited to make one I often forget it! (due to over excitement)

But I'll be posting my works soon. As you can now see.. my gallery is totally empty. Hahah.

One of the reasons I was so excited to register in deviantart is because that.. I can meet wonderful artists and their out of this world works of art. I humbly confess that I'm not good at coloring but I'm trying something new so.. I'll give up plain sketching and try out coloring.
But so far..

ANYTHING I COLOR, I DESTROY!

that's my problem. I'm self-taught and I can't find any expert artists to teach me so... I gotta learn this on my own. *sighs

Another reason why I made a devianart account would be my cosplaying idol: Jin Joson!
I'm a big fan of hers. Really. I love reading her journals and her gallery is awesome! Manny Pacquiao and Jin Joson are the reasons why I'm proud to be Filipino. Hahah. What a shallow reason... But I'm looking forward to interacting with other artists and such. I want to meet all of you! ^_^
